This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the entire JRC educational and
treatment program, and summarizes all data on the use of skin shock between
1989 and 2002. The paper has been substantially updated and enlarged during

Consensus Conference on Destructive Behaviors:
This is an abstract of the 1987 conference held by the National Institutes
of Health (NIH) which supported the use of skin-shock as one
professionally-recognized treatment for destructive behaviors.

These are abstracts of all four papers presented at
the symposium in Amiens, France, July 10, 2000.
