1.     INTAKE RESIDENCES

The residences have:

q       A high staff to client ratio and come to the JRC school building Monday –Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM also on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. 

q       A capacity of 8 to 12 clients. 

q       Access to the community is granted on a very limited basis.

q       Items of interests in their rooms (i.e. computers, televisions, DVD players, game systems, stereo systems, etc) depending on their preferences and current capabilities.

 

The residences do not have:

q        Independence (bathroom, floor, house, work, community)

q       Some exceptions may apply.

 

 

 

2.     INTERMEDIATE  RESIDENCES

TURNPIKE

STOUGHTON

MOBERG

HIGHLAND

NORTON

 

The residences have:

q       A lower staff to client ratio than Intake Residences.

q       Brae, Turnpike and Stoughton come to the JRC school building Monday –Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM due to the need of increased level of supervision.

q       Moberg, Highland and Norton come to the JRC school building Monday –Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

q       A capacity of 8 to 13 clients.

q       Access to the community on a more regular basis (every weekend ). 

q       Items of interests in their rooms (i.e. computers, televisions, DVD players, game systems, stereo systems, etc) depending on their preferences and current capabilities.

q       Independence (bathroom, floor, house) granted on an individual basis. 

 

 

3.     HIGH PRIVILEGED RESIDENCES

OLD MAPLE

 

The residences listed below have:

q       A lower staff to client ratio and come to the JRC school building Monday –Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

q       A capacity of 4 to 6 clients. 

q       Access to the community.  Each residence is encouraged to plan outings whenever possible; trips to the laundry-mat and supermarkets are done every week on a non-contingent basis.

q       Clients that attend outside educational/vocational classes. 

q       Items of interests in their rooms (i.e. computers, televisions, DVD players, game systems, stereo systems, etc).

q       Independence (bathroom, floor, house, school, work, community) granted to them or may be granted on an individual basis in the future.

The apartments have:

q       A capacity of 3 to 4 clients.

q       Access to the community.  Each residence is encouraged to plan outings whenever possible; trips to the laundry-mat and supermarkets are done every week on a non-contingent basis.

q       Clients attend outside educational/vocational classes.

q       Items of interests in their rooms (i.e. computers, televisions, DVD players, game systems, stereo systems, etc).

q       Independence (bathroom, floor, house, school, work, community) granted to them or may be granted on an individual basis in the future.

 

 

5.     TRANSITIONAL APARTMENTS

The apartments have:

q       A low staff to client ratio and come to the JRC school building Monday –Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, attend outside vocational/educational classes, or work within the community.

q       A capacity of 3 to 4 students with a minimum age requirement of 16.  A client residing in a transitional apartment must complete an application and provide letters of recommendation from their clinician, case-manager and teacher for admittance into the program.  The client must be doing well in all aspects of their educational and treatment program.  

q       Access to the community.  Each residence is encouraged to plan outings whenever possible; trips to the laundry-mat and supermarkets are done every week on a non-contingent basis.

q       Items of interests in their rooms (i.e. computers, televisions, DVD players, game systems, stereo systems, etc).

q       Acquired levels of independence such as bathroom, floor, house, school and work. After admittance into the transitional program, a student may be given “global” independence, allowing them to access the community without staff and abide by a set curfew decided upon by the clinician, case-manager and client.
